She then asked me how do I want to plead ? I said not guilty.What ! plead guilty for existing ? So my plea was noted, and I was to reappear in court for a hearing in three weeks time.However, what the doppy bitch had failed to point out to me was that when you plead not guilty ? you have to wait until your next court date for your case to be heard, and , unless, you have the money to make bail you remain incarcerated.I had no money to make bail, I didn’t even know what bail was, and as a result of this slight mis-communication on the part of my public defender, I spent three fucking weeks in a notorious prison called Cook County.
